1984 |
| 1984 was a terribly sad year at Camp after it became evident that (following more than four decades of service to the children of Koppers/Eastern employees' children) Camp Thomas E Lightfoot would be closing. |
| We know that a staff photograph was taken (see below), but we cannot find evidence that it was ever printed, and we have been unable to obtain the negatives. No yearbook was printed, as far as we can tell. No one has submitted ANY photographs from 1984 except Karen Walker Green; while the counselors and staff were lining up for the staff photo, she snapped the picture displayed below. |
